I have the following question. Today I played 5 min rapid chess. The opponent had about 15 seconds left but every move time seemed to be added to his time left. Is that possible and why? Can you turn that off? Regards Erwin

The time control for this game was 5|5. This a five minute time control with five second increment. This means 5 seconds are added to a player's clock whenever he makes a move.
