Tips For Bullet Chess

Have your opennings memorized very well, and get good in tactics. That said, if you want to get better, bullet is not the way.

Tip 1: Don’t play bullet. It’s bad for your play.

Tip 2: If you somehow find yourself playing bullet, finish the game and then follow tip 1.

So the thing is that I should stop playing bullet and which is the best less than 10 min time format to practice?

The more time you have to think the better. So play the longest format that you can afford. 

A good tip for bullet chess is to play extremely aggressive. It is very hard to defend in bullet and the attacker usually is able to force some mistake from the defending side. This doesn't mean making pointless sacrifices, but you get the idea.

I recommend players wait until they reach the 2000+ level before venturing into the realm of bullet chess.

Before the 2000 level, there are still so many fundamental concepts to work on, and bullet chess is probably the least effective way to learn/practice them.

Umm... hate to tell you this but bullet isn't really chess.

Regular 10-infinite time chess: you learn tactics, find excellent combos, have fun, and improve your chess skills.

Bullet/blitz without high intervels: A blunderfest, where whoever blunders more loses. (or, in some cases they win.) Basically beginner chess.

I'm not saying that it shouldn't be allowed, but unless u want to improve go with 15 minutes ish.
