Tips For Chess Starters

Hello everyone. If you are a beginner, and want to win quickly, then focus on improving your openings and endgames. Always remember that you have to play the opening positionally, middlegame aggressively and endgames technically. Take lessons in chess.com, and if you seriously want to get better, go to a coach, else keep practicing a lot. Do a lot of puzzles both in chess.com and Lichess. This will help you to improve your tactical skills. At start, when you are beginner, avoid playing in blitz and bullet format, this won't help you, rather play 15+10 rapid. Always look out for checks, captures and attacks. At last, I would have only one thing to say that don't blunder pieces. You can reach 1000 soon, depending on your consistency. Don't be upset after losing a game. Losing is just a part of the game. Remember that if you don't lose, you won't learn also. Overall, I have to say keep practising since "Practice makes a man perfect".

Actually to move first find checks captures and theats to your opponent and yourself then find their plan, basic analysis find the best move, 2nd best are unplayable: this is one of the best mindsets you should practice

Then after, pick an opening for both colors mine are: White: Italian, Halloween Gambit Black: Traxler, Caro Kahn, and 4 Knights Game

Before making your move, always check if:
Your opponent's previous move has created any threats,
Is the piece I am going to move defending something earlier,
Is my opponent is taking any initiative in my kingside.
Ask these questions to yourself after each move, and react accordingly. You ought to reach at least 1000 soon after that if you are currently a beginner (600-800 elo).
