Holiday Beginner chess tournament for 1199 or less rated players starting in December. Daily chess, details in the link.
If you go above 1200 during tournament, you are allowed to remain. Only exception to this rule are players who have clearly started a new account (or those with much higher rapid/bullet rating) and quickly get above 1200 during tournament (clearly are not a beginner).
First place will get 1 year diamond membership or if they already have the membership, will get $100 thechessstore.com gift card.
Each round, there will be a random drawing and winners will be gifted a monthly chess.com membership.
