Tournaments for beginners .....do they exist?

Guys ,

Could you please point me in the direction of any useful games / tournaments 

I really love the game but the thought of getting thrashed every game leaves me a little cold 😂😂😂 

Will be playing every day for a few hours so happy to join a few tournaments 

So....any recommendations please

I would say just join one and get thrashed 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’ll take the mystery out of ‘em.

you can play me if you want but I am really bad 😅 and prefer unrated games at the moment so I don't loose all my confidence

I’ve just created a tournament called “ tournament for complete beginners” tonight. Just search for it and join up. I agree that I think there should be a tournament for complete beginners just so that people can play and have fun without being crushed in under 20 moves or whatever. Have fun!

@andrian007 thats not how it works, he has to join a specific club. Anyway, to answer the OPs question, I believe there are U1200 and U1600 blitz, rapid, and bullet tournaments that you should be able to find if you go to chess.com/live and go to the tournaments tab.
