Tunnel vision/attacking the "other half" of the board

I get that a lot as well, especiall when doing problems... I often miss a long range piece that either helps or prevents the mate
Black actually forgot to take both white rooks in this game. The h1 rook on move 7, the a1 rook on move 19-20.
The only solution is to spend your time and try to find good moves. Your time management was atrocious this game. You started the game with 15 minutes on the clock, and ended with almost 21 minutes (there was increment). What's the rush for? Use your time.
I am blackand in this position I missed taking the room with my queen thats not the first time I have this complete tunnel vision and fail to always see a possible attack deep into the board.....
