One more stupid question. When I analyze a game w/ the internal engine, it suggest me to lose my queen and gain two rocks. Is this a good deal? Thanks for your comments. mau——
Generally, Two rooks are slightly better. But, this is not true if a few conditions are met. 1. King is weak. Immediately makes the queen better, as it can attack the king, get tactics, a draw, or whatever.
2. Pawn weaknesses. 3. Far advanced pawns/Pawns on both wings. This makes the queen better. Basically, in an otherwise equal position, the rooks are better. If not, the queen is better, as most weakness are much more easily taken advantage of.
