update to my little brother

over the past few days ive felt pretty bad about posting all that. not to mention it started a huge argument in the comments lol.

in my own obsession with wanting to get better at chess and winning, i forgot all about fun. i got angry at the sight of loss. most importantly i forgot hes just a little kid and my little brother. sure he was being boastful but who cares. the only person that should've been humbled was me. it was just a game for fun and all i had on my mind was winning. i feel so bad about it. if i want to win against him i just have to learn for myself, not post a forum complaining about it.

heres the original forum link for anyone whos confused: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/for-beginners/help-me-humble-my-snobby-little-brother

probably gonna end up deleting the original post sometime when i get around to it

sorry little bro.

Nice.

If you play chess, you have to learn to handle getting beat by little kids.  Humbling, but true.

The same is true for table tennis, by the way.

A man of integrity is able to admit when he's wrong.   Well done.

OP you're maturing.  Taking responsibility and ownership for errors in judgement or bad behavior is how mature men comport themselves.  You are to be commended. 🫡
