I have been playing this opening gambit for the past few weeks, where my opponent responds to 1. e4 with 1...e5. I've got really good results at blitz and rapid time controls, sometimes with shocking fast wins.
The Haxo Gambit derives from the Scotch Gambit, and can be a very effective weapon at beginner and intermediate levels, but has also been played at the top level of chess. You can surprise your opponents and get some easy wins at blitz and rapid time controls with this spicy, aggressive gambit as white.
