Otherwise: Italian game into scholars mate.
In general, e5 for quick development.
I'm currently around 300 ELO and was just wondering what kind of openings can trick my opponents effectively, I've tried some like French Defense and Blackmar Gambit but I always seem to lose when I use openings like that.
Any opening would work. At this ELO rating, good tactics and solid development are what gives you easy wins. Just develop your pieces and pawns solidly. Don't go wild. The idea is wait for your opponent to lash out.
Open Games & Gambits
Check out Scotch Game, Scotch Gambit, Goring Gambit, Vienna Game & Gambit, Ponziani Opening and Evans Gambit.....these are fun, attacking openings and typically lead to exciting games....particularly suitable for beginner-intermediate amateurs (i.e., with less complex "theory" to learn).....as well as being suitable and fun for speed chess games (bullet/blitz/rapid)...

Possibly the most exciting of all openings is the King's Gambit....just be sure to familiarize yourself with some of the fundamental theory, then give it a try to see how it suits your style...King’s Gambit games can be pretty wild…..

Forget about the openings. Learn how to think during the game. Great book for that is 'Logical Chess'. You have it on youtube as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eTB7oHeRgM&list=PLUrgfsyInqNa1S4i8DsGJwzx1Uhn2AqlT
I support learning openings but 300 elo is way too low for that, you still need to know how the game works. From 1000 elo we talk about having a good opening repertoire.
I'm currently around 300 ELO and was just wondering what kind of openings can trick my opponents effectively, I've tried some like French Defense and Blackmar Gambit but I always seem to lose when I use openings like that.
You are at 300 Elo because you frequently make horrible blunders. Here is an example:
After 5 seconds of "thinking" you put your queen to a square where your opponent could just take it. And he did.
You have to stop playing moves like that. Slow down, use your time and think.
Changing your openings or learning tricks won't help at all.
