What are the first openings a beginner should learn for each color?

I Think is very important to know Sicilian.Special when play with blacks.Perhaps because I'm Fischer fan.All the best

Beginners won't have enough memory to play sicilian

Fried liver and queen's gambit for white and traxler for black. You don't need much for black because you are mostly playing defense in the beginning. Just play solidly in the middle and end game. If your opponent plays d4 then play d5 and develop naturally

I think the risk of losing is not enough to evitate to learn Sicilian.For a beginner the defeat is part of the learning process.Maybe is a good way to stop to be beginner? Some of the best chess openings for beginners are: Italian Opening ,Sicilian Defense ,French Defense, Ruy Lopez ,Slavic Defense. (as a chess.com article says)
