Up to you. I try to play around or above my rating so use -25/+200. If you set it too low your rating will be inflated by easy wins (over-rated) so you'll tilt eventually. I prefer my rating to reflect my ability, warts and all. Others like the wins but take it hard when they slide back down. Each to their own.

But what *is* the default rating range? I also changed mine and don't remember.
I was kind of messing around with the elo of my opponents and now I can't remember what was the default one. My current setting is -50,+50 but I don't know if it's any good. Should I pick different range? Is it better going for -50, +200 to simply play against better player and try to improve or -200, +200 to not discourage myself from constant losing against better players (though I can still lose to -200 guy and be annoyed as well
)?
