What is the trick to playing blitz..

Just wondering your thoughts on how to start winning at blitz. I've been doing much better in rapid, thinking clearly, having sound openings, and my rating is steadily climbing, however, I can't seem to crack the 750 mark when it comes to blitz. I try to incorporate everything I do in rapid, but more quickly, I move fast in the opening to save time, and try to lock up positions the best I can, but people either are playing exceptionally well, or I just am making really poor decisions. I do blunder my queen more often than I'd like which doesn't help. just wondering if there's any other thing I'm missing to help me break out of the 700 range and progress past 1000. thanks..

I've thought the same thing, maybe try spending more time thinking in the middle game, try to play for tactics and know basic endgames. Just some tips, but I don't really know
