What is your best ONE TIP OF ADVICE for Beginners/Intermediate

Oh, I only gave a tip for a beginner. OP also asks for a tip for intermediate players (I'll assume OP means "intermediate" as something like 1300-1500).
After finding a move you want to play, your goal is to make that move look as bad as possible. Look for ways the opponent can move that make your move look foolish or bad. Don't assume a recapture. Don't assume a check. Look at many of your opponent's options.
After finding the move you're most afraid of, if you still like your candidate move, then you're allowed to play it.

playing lots of unrated games doesn't change the fact that your rating isn't 1300, given that unrated games are exactly that: unrated.

You can still get it pretty much from force if black follows the most principled moves
My advice would be to play your move, then start thinking about the next one. While your opponent is thinking, think yourself. Ponder what he might do, and think of ways to counter it. That way, you can make moves relatively quickly without making them carelessly.
