Hi! My name is Lauren Goodkind and I’m a respected chess coach and chess YouTuber based in California:

Here’s some ideas to help you get better.
-I recommend two books for you: “50 Poison Pieces” and “Queen For A Day: The Girl’s Guide To Chess Mastery.” Both books are available on Amazon.com. Both books are endorsed by chess masters!
-If you are serious about chess, I highly recommend you hiring a chess coach to help you.
I hope that this helps

Thanks Russ i will check this out
First priority is to get rid of blunders. Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it. As long as you blunder advanced strategies do not help.

Check this out. I hope it will be helpful!
First, get tactics knowledge (i.e. basic use of moves) and endgame strategies (endgame situation is simple, with less pieces, thus will better help you understand the power and usage of pieces and moves) from good chess book with some engine's help.
Second, start memorize and understand openings, with the help of the first step (tactics and endgames), openings will be better understood.
Third, choose a better chess website other than this one, since at some stage you got to try live chess eventually, while this one is full of lag and connection issue, and the website will only pretend this issue be non-existence. For this point, trust me since I noticed it only after I purchased the membership. If I could try live chess here earlier, I won't waste single penny for this unplayble bad connection and the very weird arrogance.
Hope you can enjoy the game.
Thanks for the detailed reply. i will surely follow these instructions
I just started taking interest in chess and I find it is an interesting game.
I just learned the basics by reading some articles

but I want to learn some advanced strategies which can improve my game.
