I’m new to chess and idk what the opponent is trying to do here. Is this just a series of nonsense move or is it a real setup?

The first 2 moves were valid though, as he was fiancettoing his bishop but after that, those moves were just bad and not a real opening.

He's probably new or something and you should just accept your win and carry on playing. I would not worry about seeing that again in the future
