When do the cheats play?

Seems like I “lose by abandonment” because of a connection issue (not a connection issue)…or I get absolutely thumped…in waves. Are there certain days of the week…certain times of day that I can expect to get “disconnect as I’m about to win, only to lose to a play I had dead to rights? Coincidence…or is there a time when the servers crash or cheaters play that I should avoid
