why am I winning only 8-9 points

I'm at 400 elo. when I started I was playing for fun and dropped to 270. now instead of winning 30 and losing 30, I win 10 and lose 20. it was painful getting back to 400 even if I won every match. now I still win 10 and my opponents win 30. what should I do?

Actually, there's nothing you can do. This is just how it works

It happens. when you first start out you game swings will be wild and dramatic however after a certain amount of games they become less dramatic.

IM 100 E.L.O+i searched that when you do your first games it adjusts to the E.L.O that more accurately represents your skill level faster by doing this. It just assumes that's the best you can play so tough luck you can probably make a new account to get back to 400.
