This black turn. If black move the queen to e4 why will he loose the queen?

CaroKannEnjoyer02

The queen is simply trapped. Black cant do anything.

If black moves e4 what will white do next?

Didn’t calculate very thoroughly, but my first istinct is Rdf1 and then if gxf4 Bf3.

I think my answer is incorrect. I will have to think about it a little more because after gxf4 black could take again with the pawn and threaten the Queen.
You can also check with the engine if you want the answer. (I assume this is not an ongoing game).

Qe4 does lose the Queen but black gets the bishop and the rook for it. since black is already a pawn up, the position is materially equal.

But I would rather have white.

The most bizarre thing is that the OP has engine analysis just one click away. Instead of looking at that, he asks other people, but without providing a link to the game, inserting a trashy screenshot instead. This looks like some bizarre trolling to me.

I actually took a look at it with the engine and it seems like losing the Queen is not forced.

I think the game review says it allows the opponent to win the Queen because giving up the Queen for a Rook and Knight is the best option, but it seems black can hang on to the Queen if they so wish, although that will lead to losing more material than is necessary.

I was correct about my first instinct not being correct.

Well, instead of posting it here you could click on the Analysis and see the moves. You can move your moves and see what means the engine. I also often have similar questions like What if I move by another way, but instead of posting it I just click on the button Analysis and it shows me all the ideas behind it's moves. That's all

What about 4. - Qh4?

Stockfish says 1. Be2 Qe4 2. Nh5 and goes for the king, not the queen.
