why did this draw?

I had a buy pinned and was like 2 or 3 moves away from check mating him. I had 2 queens and a pawn and he had nothing. Then he didn’t act and the game sat there for like a minute and a half or two minutes then it said it was a Draw. Why? I took a screenshot so I’d send it but I don’t know how to do pictures with this on mobile. He also started trash talking me, in chess, when he just sat there and let time give him a draw. But how does that draw occur and can I do anything about it now? I earned some rating points from that.

The game info said "Game drawn by timeout vs. insufficient material".
It looks like you timed out probably by disconnection. The game was drawn because your opponent only had a lone king (which is not enough for checkmate).
