Hii guys

I'm grinding to get 1000 elo , but I'm stuck on 930 .

Do you guys have the same issue of losing games even if you play like 1500-1700 games ???

I give a example of a recent game , Its a 76 moves game and my opponent +90%acc and this for a 900 rated player

sad

Sure, let's take a look at your most recent losses. I'm sure this is frustrating to revisit but hopefully you'll learn a few things.

The most common problem with ~1000 rapid is players moving WAY too fast. You started with 15 minutes and had more than 15 minutes when you played the weakening 19.Ne5, followed by 20. Nd3, blundering the devastating Qxf7. Strategically, you should avoid defending a key pawn like f7 by moving your knight to an undefended square. Re7 defends it much more robustly.

This is the 76 move game you mentioned. Here you did use your time better. 8. Nxe5 here is a mistake. Generally you should resolve when one of your pieces is under attack, unless the counter attack is both forcing and gives you a tempo back to finish resolving your under attack piece.

The engine hates trading queens. Wasn't immediately obvious to me, but when you look longer you see c4 both wins a tempo, but more importantly your queen is perfectly places while theirs is awkward. Queen trades are one of the most important decisions to spend a lot of time on. Don't be afraid to spend minutes when faced with a queen trade.

After the queen trade you continued to play quickly, but you needed either move 17 or 18 to save your bishop. Anytime you have a piece that deep behind enemy lines, get it out before they have chances to trap it.

9. h6 opens up a common and powerful sacrifice. Even more powerful with the g file open. Some more time spent here might encourage you to continue development instead. 12. Nf4 is a tragic blunder, you took the time but missed the backwards queen move. It happens, retreating moves are hard to see. You should make a mental note to specific look for backward moves, especially backward knight moves as they trip up even GMs.

Overall you use time better than most players around ~1000, but it's still a resource you're not using enough of. Try to play the early middle game more carefully, try to move pieces to defended squares when possible, retreating pieces back to safety before they get trapped, and making sure you do one last blunder check before playing moves, even (especially) after spending a lot of time calculating lines. Hope this helps, good luck!

Your opponent played extremely well.

90% accuracy is far above the rating of a 900 - 1000 player

It is very uncommon to see such high accuracy score among players of the 900 to 1,000.

However, Blaming the opponent for being to good isn’t going to make you better chess player.

If you was strong chess player, you could have beaten or at very least draw the game.

Instead, you lost which means their are errors which you are making in your line.

We can tell you were errors are. We can give advice on how to minimize these errors

BUT at the end of the day, you are only one with power to become stronger.

Blunder check before you make your move. Look at the other players possible reaction to your move. Ask yourself does this move help me? Does it aid you defensively or does it set up a attacking line? Again look to see how the other player could hurt you. Use your time in more tough lines, if you have ten minutes use them. Most games are decided in the first 25 moves. Step 1, protect your king, step 2, develop your pieces, step 3, start your attack, you will win more games. Low elo here is very deceptive many people come and go that have decent chess ability. Many good players get burned out, delete their account and then come back, because they love chess, but maybe can't break the 1400 wall, but play fairly strong. Hope this helps.

honestly more like this is why you keep losing, probably

i mean, 300-600 elo players are better than you, just face it

With respect you only have a rapid of 630. I don't think you should put the other guy down.

I'm certain you're totally missing my point. Who am I putting down? What an amazing achievement this brilliant unknown player has accomplished! It should be known to the world. If OP faced him, I'm certain they would be defeated by this player who can do that.
And if they can do it, any 300-600 elo player can! Maybe most!
For some reason, though, I can't.

I guess I felt your comment was more condescending then helpful, my apologizes for misunderstanding you.

Very irregular to see a 900 play at 90% accurate chess in a 76 move game imo. If time isn't a huge factor you could try 10 min games with no time bonus. I play 10 min straight up.

My advice (as a chess coach and 2100+ player):

Learn and apply the most important principles of chess.
Always blunder-check your moves.
Solve tactics in the right way.
Analyze your games.
Study games of strong players.
Learn how to be more psychologically resilient.
Work on your time management skills.
Get a coach if you can.

We are not allowed to accuse people of cheating or talk about cheating in the forums.

Some people get accused of cheating when they haven’t been cheating and it can hurt their feelings. This is why the moderator tell people just to report players for investigation.

It is part of the forum rules which is why I never called anyone a cheater.

I just said it was very uncommon players 900 can play at 90% accuracy in a chess game.

We can see now from the above screenshots that Chess.com did do an investigation against the players you played. Their accounts were closed due to violating the fair policy rules.

Players who played against person violating the fair rules policy get their points returned.

——————————

Its clear you was to strong for them and so your opponents had to do these under handed things to try and beat you.

You should be proud of yourself for having 80% accuracy against them which is extremely impressive. These players are helping you refine your game.

If you keep this up, you will be 1,700 rated chess player.

Save the games you had against these players so you can study and analyze.

The more you Improve the line you play the harder it will be for them to beat you and eventually you will end up in a draw.

Than when you play regular chess players who are really 900.

You are going to completely destroy them.

Another thing I want to show you is something very funny.

Here is the game you played vs. Colonel

Recently, I was looking at your game history again and I ran across the below game

The level 930 player in the above game played at a 94.1% accuracy in a 31 move game.

I think it is very uncommon to see a 900 - 1,000 rated player playing at 94%.

What a find funny is how similar the game look.

You should study that line for sure 100%.

They seem to love playing it against you.
