Why you don't play the Tennsion Gambit

This game exemplifies why one shouldn't invest a lot of time playing the Tennsion Gambit, or the ICBM. I will note... that I play extensively the Center Counter Defense and normal development moves check the Tennsion, ICBM and the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit. That said... regardless of the defense Black plays... once you get above a certain ELO the tricks that these openings are based upon don't work... and what you have left is a loosing position.

96%Accuracy (NOTE !!!!! a high Accuracy Rate... means your opponent played bad! NOT that you played well... I attribute the high accuracy rate to his poor choice of an opening. 

"Learn opening traps to defend against them, not to play them."

This advice alone will at least get you somewhere. It's a shame it doesn't get to some people.
