Statement (c) is false! Since opposite corners are always the same colours, and a knight needs 2 moves to reach another square of the same colour as it's initial square, thus we can conclude that five moves is impossible.

h and j are false, as is e.

GuessWhoIAm

@Robert0905 -- Your aim is to find and post the true statements only, not the false ones. Please see the rules at the first page.

EDIT: Since I don't have much time for a new puzzle (for certain reasons), I decided to change the rules a bit. Now false statements do not affect the round at all! So a round can only end when all true statements have been found! I will change the rules on the first page later.

d is true?

a skewer is a pin that is reversed.  Surprised

www.chesscorner.com/tutorial/tactics/skewers/skewers.htm

A skewer "pins" the piece behind the more valuable piece because the more valuable piece should (or must) move.

WBFISHER

h is true? (double round-robin)

MuhammadAreez10

E is false. A pin is the opposite of a skewer. The round was over before 16 hours.

GuessWhoIAm

@MuhammadAreez10 -- As I previously stated, now false statements do not end the round anymore, but will not reward points as always.

MuhammadAreez10

Do you lose a point if you point out a false statement?

MuhammadAreez10

F is true?

GuessWhoIAm

@MuhammadAreez10 -- Nope, you just lose 2 hours of your precious time for guessing, though that is a good suggestion. ;)

GuessWhoIAm

All true statements have been found!

True statements: a, b, d, f, g, h, i.

(c) is false since A Queen can control 21 squares and over on an empty board, never less than that.

(e) is false since though they are similar, but have different meanings, a pin mainly aims to take the piece behind the pinned piece, while a skewer aims to take either piece.

(j) is false since both games are actually played by Adolf Andersson.
