Actually, C is still true. You said "Garry Kasparov was still a world champion in 1995"

In 1993 the title split and Kasparov was the PCA world chess champion. While it is true that he was not the FIDE world champion, he was a world champion in 1995. There were 2 champions in 1995, Karpov and Kasparov.

For c to be false, you would have had to say "Kasparov was the undisputed/FIDE world champion in 1993"
