another: (cube root of 8) * (cube root of 8) * 3 * 3  =24

Um... both wrong.

(8/8)*3!*3! = 1*6*6 = 36

³√8*³√8*3*3 = 2*2*3*3 = 36

I got confused between 24 & 36....

However,this one will be correct:

³√8* √8 * (3! - 3)

If you mean √8* √8 * (3! - 3) = 24, then yes. Both roots must be square for their product to equal 8, multiplied by 3 (or 3*2*1 - 3) is 24.

Likewise as amir5000, but a little different way to have found it: (8*8*3*3)^1/2.

I think so, because it is a mathematical construct, just like + - * and ^.
