Chess Deaths

My friend ? (I'm sorry whoever it is, I cannot remember your username) said chess can kill people. Share or argue about that, I think people have not been killed by chess but have been while playing it. 💀

If you are referring to moi it was just me relating a story about a chap playing chess in Central Park NYC and a hawk were diving for a squirrel. The man reacted to his opponent's move by jumping to his feet and was skewered by the falcon. Dead before he hit the ground. If we want to play the blame game, his opponent, the squirrel, the falcon as well as himself could be at fault. Not to mention, as you say, the game of chess. Personally I blame the guy for losing his composure at what was not all that surprising of a move, if I remember the story. Is it a dangerous game? Absolutely.

And about the guy who had 'brain death' from chess? Or was that Kaeldorn?

Yeah I dunno about the brain death. Must have been Kaeldorn.

I sure hope Kaeldorn didn't die from chess though. He was mostly nice but also supported chess killing people.
