I actually find some of the adds interesting. Like that website with really good deals on chess sets.

A member who pays membership will never know about this good deals so maybe ends up paying more in other website... In the other hand, trying to sell to the people who can't or don't want to invest money is kinda contradictory... I mean the people who spends the money don't get the adds, and the people who spend nothing is being ofered more options to spend.
