I'm a smoker, and i sometimes smoke cigars, too. I smoke when playing chess, too, ofc, but i only play online for many years now, so my smoke hurts noone but me and my dog.
I read somewhere that it's not really tobacco that causes cancer, but all those thousands of other chemicals that are added to it, and it might be true. At least cigars must have fewer of those chemicals - or so i think, that they're more pure.
Let me ask you people something, do you know that the use of mobile phones has been connected to the creation of tumors? There's even been a court decision regarding this, in Rome, Italy, IIRC.
(And those are not the only human-made electro-magnetic waves that we "consume")
