i agree also interesting, i love new york chess rules : they dont tell you you are in check they just take your king rofl.

It seems this site will make history as many of the 6 million + players will make a top spot in the world, and a number of the world's top 100 chess players are already members of this site, so I thought about a documentary about this site could be produced, I got this idea after I have recently watched a documentary about GOOGLE, why not this one too!

I think that would be cool too.

I've always thought a documentary about chess parents (parents of children who play chess competitively) would be interesting.

I imagine they have a wide variety of motives, from pressuring their kids to play to just being supportive, and that there are parents who are obsessed with winning and those who just want their kids to have a good time, etc.

Might be really interesting to see a documentary about that, and to get a glimpse into that environment.

Awesome documentary Erik.

Quality stuff. I'm happy for those kids who have the supportive parents.

I also like what the grandmaster said about how everyone knows each other and chess is like a family with support.

Quite refreshing in contrast to the way some parents are shown as these ruthless slavedrivers demanding perfection from toddlers.
