The !
It forces the pieces to run 10 kilometers and so you can't play the game

The coder, moves like a king. You can use it to code custom pieces in any programming language, but a maximum of 5 lines of code per turn, and coding on it costs your turn. When you’re done with your creation, move the coder to drop the piece where the coder last was.

The ?
forces all the pieces to play mistakes and so you’ll probably lose.

The rock. There’s four of it in the centre, and… you can move it with a pawn, only pawns and they can’t be captured, they are just… rocks. It’s blocking the centre four squares, if you move a pawn to its position, you move it towards a random direction exactly ONE space.

The high ground (Б): Moves like a king. Only pawns can capture it, but they can also step on it. Other pieces cannot step over it, but they can land on it. This does not affect knights.

The CGOL piece (Ц): In its dormant state, it moves like a king, but can also move two spaces horizontally or vertically, but cannot jump over other pieces. It has a power that can be activated once per game, when it becomes its active state. Active state: In its active state, it can turn the opponent's pieces in a 5×5 square around it into a CGOL simulation. This will cost a turn. After 100 generations, the simulation will end. After the simulation is done, all the live cells will turn into pawns.

ChipTheBoi

The archer. Moves like a king, attacks like a king without moving. Symbol: H

The quantum superposition piece: starts on i1 and -a1(i8 and -a8 for black)simultaneously, even though there is only one on the board. Moves like a wazir.

fire bender: can set two squares in any direction on fire for 3 turns. if any piece move into the fire, it is set on fire and taken after two turns, unless extinguished by water bender which i will explain later. fire bender moves like a rook. using fire ability counts as one turn.

here is the water bender. can use a high powered water beam to push any piece onto the back rank. can extinguish ally pieces . abilities count as one turn.

air bender. can summon whirlwinds that can relocate up to two enemy pieces. can also choose to sacrifice an ally piece which will be blown across the line, eliminating all pieces except the kings. then the ally piece sacrificed will be removed.

earth bender. can use an earthquake move to remove all pieces 1 square to it, all pieces with less than six value in a 2x2 radius, all pawns in a 4x4 radius.

the benders can be created when you take 9 points worth of pieces with a queen. then you can choose to "promote" the queen into a bender, but the queen needs two turns studying before it becomes a bender. while studying it cannot move and is very vulnerable.

Shark2636 bender: generates other benders while the game is on.

The Lecongkhanhnhu Bender:

Instantly kills any sister pieces, and constantly roasts sister pieces throughout the entire game.

Turns into a Shark2636 bender after 13 turns.

Moves like a rook

The Avatar: a low chance of being created after you make a bender. Sixteen moves after you make a bender, a message will appear in the chat that says whether or not your bender is the Avatar. Then you can have it occupy the same square as an ally rook in which it will take ten turns studying to learn the other 3 types of bending. Also, once it is created, it cannot die because every time it’s captured it will just reincarnate on a random spot. It also has an Avatar State, which I will explain soon.

ChipTheBoi

Bomb: moves like a rook, except only two squares. When they capture, all pieces on a 3 x 3 square radius explode, including the king and the bomb itself. If by capturing both kings explode at the same time, the game ends in a draw. Its symbol is an M. A draw by explosion would be notated as a /. For example, Mxg4/, which means the bomb took on g4 and exploded both kings.

Shark2636

The ultimate pawn. This is EXTREMELY overpowered but also very complex. see this unlisted video to learn what it does(i couldn't get the recording to be loud so have at least 30% volume to hear anything.)

explodingmacaroni

The rock: cannot move, enemy pieces can move through it but your pieces cant, if you king gets within1 square of it the king dies and you lose the game

DragonGamer231

The time-traveller. It can move across the board the same way a king would, and it change the board position back to what it was on your previous turn up to 3 times or until it is captured, whichever comes first. It can also capture the same way a normal king would.

deadmemer1

The trash pawn: You have to move it every turn like the duck in duck chess, but once it reaches the other side of the board, it turns into another king. If any of your kings get checkmated you lose.

hotcrystal1
The port: moves like ferz(1 square diagonally in any direction)+ alibaba(two squares in any direction, can jump over other pieces)(there is a light square one and a dark square one). Any ally piece adjacent to it can be teleported to another square adjacent to it.

The betrayer: moves like a king, but if it steps on your opponent’s back rank, it changes color.

The starry sky, looks like a queen with stars and the night sky replacing its normal texture, can move like queen however every 3 move it gets a shooting star, on every 3rd time you move it it has a ranged attack, but only happens 3 times in total. if taken any piece that takes it will go crazy from staring at the stars too long and does nothing for the rest of the game, it cannot be taken and pieces can jump over it.

Impostor:

Can instantly checkmate when you feel like it

PlushiProd

The Joey9999.

Repeats the same moves over and over.

Just like the real like counterpart.

PlushiProd

The unionpacificfan.

Can take control of one of your pieces and makes them do the worst possible move.

Just like the real life counterpart.

Green_Sleeves

The Lousy Shot:

It can only move next to pieces, and can never capture them.

Raphael

Kingdebeest rider, combines queen and wildebeest rider

Raphael

Could jump over pieces while using wildebeest rider

Jeremy_feilong
The drunk. Make the opponent’s pieces drunk
