I've never had anyone play the Grob against me, except for the computer program on this site. I lost.

I enjoy strange openings and the Grob is indeed a strange one. I used it in some bullet games to force the opponent to think immediately. Try it if you dare and if you are getting bored playing the same staff all the time!

If your opponent has a sense of humour he can try 1...g5 (Double Grob). Then you play 2.f4 and you have the Coca-Cola Gambit! Now we are playing some real chess!!! Look out Magnus , here come the Grobers!!
