How dumb are you? A)Super smart! B) Pretty good C) ok D) Monkey dumb

Mostly A's Very Fast player well if you play bullet your probally fast. Younger kids tend to play fast games games because they get bored easily and is your smart you can think fast whitch makes you move fast (hopfully) Mostly B's Fast player blitz is fast but you still get quite enough time.19-29 i have learned the older you get the slower you play (unless you only play 1 thing ect. bullet) smart people move fast as well. Mostly C's Normal You like normal speed. The end of it. Mostly D's Slow You play slow because, well you play a long time games so yeah. No offence but when i play with most old people there really slow. Maybe just because your dumb doesnt really mean your always slow but that seemed the closes word to get in that kinda of... choice. If you play CORRSPONDECE i guess your i dunno...

I think some of the greatest games every played are in CC, so I think that turns your whole theory on its head.

Basing someone's intelligence on how quickly they prefer to move pieces around a checkered board doesn't seem very sound. Basing someone's intelligence on how many times they use 'your' in place of 'you're'...might be a bit more connected.

TYR1S

Its partly conditioning... Someone who is conditioned to play long time controls (and I mean 1.5 - 2 hours each) will obviously perform worse in Blitz and Bullet.

For starters repertoire choices in blitz and long play are vastly different. In blitz an opening need not be sound since people don't have the time to calculate to refute it. In fact if the opening is wild and intimidating it tends to work even better, somewhat contrary to long play.

I don't really like your logic regarding junior players. As a general rule Junior players often play too quickly and blunder...

Really the speed is relative to the time controls in effect and the players time management skills. The fastest player is by no means the best nor the smartest.
