how long have you been playing chess

72 minus 8 = 64 years I have been playing.  Have been playing  bridge for 63 years. 

Since 1958 - 55 years.  But with 2 'layoffs,'  each about 13-14 years.

since I get little sleep and thus [theoretically] have more time for chess you might say 83 years rather than 64 years?

I have been playing chess for about 2 years and 3 months. I posted a blog saying how I learned chess here.

I started when I WAS 21 now 80=59 years

As a negative sum chess idiot savant, it took me 59 years to learn the moves, after which it took me only five seconds to make a bad one.
