I Play Chess Because .....

I play chess because....

1.  It stimulates the mind.

2.  It's an ongoing challenge to better myself.

3.  It's an unsolvable puzzle because something different can always happen.

4.  I like to crush my opponent and possibly make him shed tears.

5.  I enjoy meeting players in OTB tournaments.

Here are mu reasons:

1. It exercises the mind and keeps it sharp.

2. It is an inexpensive game that can give you a 10,000% return on your investment.

3. You can improve your play through numerous books.

4. You can make great friends through the game.

5. Chess software is relatively inexpensive

6. The game saved my life when I had cancer (it took my mind off of the thought of dying).

     That is just a few of the plethora of reasoons I love the game. Of course chess.com makes the game that much better!

I play chess because it is great  to play, i meet various interesting people from  all parts of the  world

also  playing chess  is  good therapy for me  since i had my stroke in 2002,  it

helps  me to  train my mind to  think  better and more  clearly

I play chess because I am crazy and like the punishment

 I'm not all that good and I love chess because it engages my mind and tests my concentration.

I play chess because it gives your brain the best workout possible and its fun.

Because it is the Game of King's!

It is truly Exciting (Unless you play 1.d4) and Fun. Deception, Treachery and Evil Intent can be big plus' to your game against the Young and Brilliant! It pits Intellects playing for different advantages with different approachs and styles to see who will prevail! There is no more Challenging Engaging Game in the World!

It is also an opportunity to meet fascinating people from all over the World. What can this game be lacking.... Not much.

I play chess because it is like life. Sometimes you are inspired and you get excited when you make a very good and unexpected move; sometimes you are really depressed when you make an absurd mistake and most of the time you accept the challenge to play, hopping to discover the way to see the end of the tunnel and in this process you are spending time without even noticed it, making good friends, which it is one of the best things of CHESS.COM(The comunity),and  in this way exercizing your mind always with new problems to solve, new challenges to face, and so on. In other words, I repit,is like LIFE itself. What a marvelous game!! C ongratulations all chess players, and Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
