Illegal Position Contest!

ok
8 queens 1 pawn both rooks both bishops 1 knight is blacks material
and the other knight was captured by whites pawn

Can anyone prove that my position from post #239 is illegal? For convenience, I can transfer the diagram onto the current page:
no previous moves
Here's the position. With Black to play, there are plenty of previous moves for White. With White to play, Black has the previous move Pf2xe1=R. Why won't either of those possibilities work to make the position legal?
Case 1: A dark-squared bishop had to be captured to make it legal for black to promote.
Case 2: 1 pawn has to be exchanged to make it possible for the other pawns to promote,so a N cannot be captured.
Case 3:A R or a Queen capture would result in an illegal check.

white to move [#4976]
Black has at least seven promoted queens. Each pawn starts out blocked by an opposing pawn, so each promotion requires at least one capture by one side or the other. But the two sides are only missing one man between them. It's impossible to have seven promotions with only one available capture.

Would the position be legal if the h2 rook were on g2?
white to move illegal black to move legal if h2 rook is on g2
