Music is so soothing. It also helps me in my studies. Unfortunately, the board don't allow us to bring headphones into the examination hall.

I always listen to music when playing chess and believe me it brings me pretty good results and pretty bad results too, it all depends on what kind of music I'm listening, if I hear calming soothing music I usually win, when I hear rock and metal I tend to make sacrifices which often result in a loss for me (sometimes they work but very rarely).

Me too! That's why I change into rock and EDMs when the game starts getting intense..
what kind of rock do you hear? I usually hear to Avenged Sevenfold.
