Instead of 5.Qc1+ an other good move can be Qa1+, can't it?
Umm... 2.Kf3#, anybody? Or 2.Qd6# if you prefer.
5.Qa1+ is met by 5...Rxa1 -+.
Yeah, that's what I thought as well (Kf3# or Qd6#). Weird.

Mate in 2 indeed (any number of ways e.g 1.Nf3 (any) 2.Rh2# or 1.Qc5 (any) 2.Qg1#).
A wee bit overcooked.
I'm going to claim that the position comes from a Chess960 game and play 1.0-0-0#, as that is the unique mate in 1 and there is nothing in the position itself which suggests that castling is impossible (without looking at the FEN).
