I once challenged a fantastic Russian player to a chess game, and decided to engage in a little "trash talk" beforehand. "Я буду обиграть вас!/Ya budu obigrat' vas!" I typed in the chat box, meaning "I am going to beat you!" Unfortunately...
I spelled the word for "to beat" wrong. It's обыграть.
Pro Tip: DON'T misspell any of the words in your "trash talk" challenge to an opponent in their native language.
