Origin of Chess

In the beginning all was void. And She reached out Her hand and She said, "Let there be game." And there was game!

1. On the first day of creation my true love made for me, a piece that was taken for free.
2. On the second day of creation my true love made for me, two slanty Bishops, and a piece that was taken for free.
3. On the third day of creation my true love made for me, three GM norms, two slanty Bishops, and a piece that was taken for free.
4. On the fourth day of creation my true love made for me, four horsies leapin', three GM norms, two slanty Bishops, and a piece that was taken for free.
5. On the fifth day of creation my true love made for me, FIVE PASSED PAWNS! Four horsies leapin', three passed pawns, two slanty Bishops, and a piece that was taken for free.

And that was the fifth day. And on the sixth day She separated the Light from the Dark, the pieces from the pawns, the masters from the patzers. And it was kinda okay.

Then dawned the seventh day and She was pooped so she tossed in a few opening traps. ^_^
