Maybe you haven't analyzed any games yet so here's what is so funny.  White promoted to a Q that Black was forced to take to prevent mate.  The engine felt that promoting to a rook was a superior move.

Same thing happened in a leela game. Promoted to a rook and it looked like the engine was trolling.Probably has something to do with the search order. I assume you didn't leave it on very long. Stockfish should evaluate as equal after awhile

Leila weirdness I because the reward settings were flawed in the machine learning and so Leela stretches out won games as long a possible. So yes Leela was trolling.

Yeah, there's obviously reason why it favours promoting to a rook. My assumption was that it's trained to keep material loss to a minimum so therefore sees promoting to a rook that will be lost as preferable to losing a queen... Still hilarious to look at though!
