Life can be viewed as a chess game. Through the movie 'Pursuit of Happyness', we come to know about the life story of Chris Gardner.
As for 'moves' in his life, every move after he met with that broker till he was accepted as a broker was at least best move. Perhaps when he thought that he can't accept the unpaid internship was a mistake. But other than that, in the mentioned time period in every situation he did what was best in that situation. The answer at the interview board 'maybe he had really nice pants' was a brilliant move!
