Yes, Luis, thank you, I understand, although Spanish (and English) are not my mother languages, and this counts as well for your forum post about Napoleon Bonaparte and the explanation you gave !   Please go on  !    By the way, when I was Jubilado, I started to study Spanish, because of relatives living in Spain...

But I still have to translate this joke from Spanish to English ( as I did with your Alfil/Bishop and the Caballo/Horse forums ) so let me try :

A carpenter played chess, very good, but never won ; why ?  when they offered him a draw, he accepted always...

They offered him "tablas" which means "a draw" , but it also means "a wooden plank", and he could use that for his work !
