-JacobArnold- I think you may have found the solution to Puzzle 5 of the ChessBase Christmas Puzzles 2012! The Total Destination Count for this game is just 3! Wow. E4, D5, and E2. (I.e. those are the only square pieces land on.) Who'd have thought it?

1. I think just about everyone knows the scholars mate, fun to play against people who don't know any opening in chess.
2. A less known one which can lead to a faster win by a horrible mistake of black looks a lot like white's planning the scholars aswell.
3. A lot of people also know the shortest possible mate, which is by black.
Does anyone know any other short mates? I Thought it'd be fun to share :P
