yes they r ... William suggested new teams play an established team from season 1 to qualify one that has gone the distance ... not one that times out
yes i was there for that victory 
I see. Thats a tough rule by the way. You start playing aginst a team that times out after 25 moves and your hard work gets vanished. I think there should be a minimum-moves criterion for winners to qualify in case of time out.

well my other group super troopers started playing 1 game on a particular day and then the other team timed out after 10 moves ... William was there with us ...
so we started another game that same day and THAT team timed out as well after 10 moves ...
William declared that we had qualified as we both times was prepared to go the distance in both games as he saw we had been ready for them
