The Old Warriors

Yes a very good ending ! I have been trying to think of an Actor back in the Golden Days of Hollywood who might have played this scene had it been made into a movie. Thanks to this new ending I think that it would have been either Boris Karloff or Vincent Price lol.

Well e4nf3 I am over 18 stone and couldnt fight my way out of a paper bag. Mind you, that was true when I was 12 stone, so.... Anyway, Otto could have been a Sumo wrestler or something. And at kenpo, the part of chess.com that is weird and crazy is that section called "All of the Forums". Its what we live for, those of us who either forget how to actually play chess or like me have an awful internet connection and cant be bothered with playing a lot of turnbased games either. The perfect solution: a place where people rant about loosely-chess-related rubbish.

I think your original story was fine as it was. Dont listen to these crazy detractors who want you to turn it into a zombie movie...

Thanks.
BTW...
I've looked at your Sekar story. Have you ever considered mixing the narrative with some dialogue? Narrative alone gets tedious, don't you think?
I've also written a novel. It was a goal that I had...to write a novel before age 30. And, I did it.

I rarely use dialogue. I find it is my greatest weakness and tends to be a little trite when I try to use it. Besides in this particular story it is being chronicled by Antim, a point which will become clearer later on, so dont blame me blame him, hes writing it not me. :)

Thanks for the praise and the advice. I do use some dialogue, to varying degrees in different stories but I try to play to my strengths and coming up with silly ways to use chess or odd ideas and then describing them is how I like to go. My personal favourite story, though(http://www.chess.com/forum/view/fun-with-chess/the-worlds-most-exclusive-chess-club), does use more dialogue than most of them and I am well aware that I need to work on that side of things. In the case of the Sekar chapters though I mainly want to describe.
