However, the Sejm refused to approve of his inheriting the title, triggering a strikingly anachronistic civil war, the Andersenics versus the Jagiellonites.

Andersen decides to get military help from the British and French, now known as the Anglo-Andersaxen Empire. With his new army, he takes over Austria, and Russia resigns. However, Prussia decides to drop a bucketload of German Pawns and German Kings onto the army.

However, the French-British alliance soon disintegrates due to squabbles over silly things like everyone in the French government being slaughtered in the Reign of Terror, causing Andersen to lose support in the Napoleonic fallout, leading to the Andersenic lines disintegrating on the Prussian front, Russia to jump back into the war, and Austria to force out Andersen's installed puppet ruler, Endrison.

Andersen, on the other hand, allies himself with the Danish, because, for some reason, they were not originally conquered by the Germans.

Issuing a state of emergency, France and the Italians fight hard against the German and newly formed Austro-Hungarian Alliance, only to find out Endrison has been secretly building a time machine with the help of grasshoppers (variants piece) behind enemy lines.

Andersen is called upon by the French to retrieve Endrison's machine and stop the war. However, Endrison is now working alone. He reveals that he joined forces with one other pawn: Jeremy Ramos. Endrison fights valiantly against Andersen and his forces, and later dies. Jeremy gives up the plans for the time machine and surrenders himself to the Andersaxen Empire.
