It is today, and I have to cross the parade route (Broadway in Kansas City) to get to/from work. I snuck across this morning before they sealed the street, but in the evening I look forward to the drunks.

However there is no actual money involved as this is just for fun. That is to say it like playing Chess on-line because no matter what level you are at it has no effect on things out in the real world.
