There has been some press coverage of the huge upset underway in the English soccer league. And it got me to thinking, what is the biggest upset ever in a grandmaster chess tournament? Let's set some arbitrary parameters; minimum 8 players, at least 75% GMs, classical time controls, how often has one of the bottom two prevailed??
