I googled 1131 games and found it. August 1, 2005. She set four world records that day.
She seems to have a thing for simutaneous demonstrations. Since someone is always going to try to break the world record, I wonder how many boards played at one time is going to reach a ceiling? Is it going to be tree or four thousand boards at once, causing the Grandmaster to walk say 40 miles. Since many of our masters are getting on in age, they may have to supply one of those motorized chairs for the event.
Actually Grandmasters are getting younger... as a group that is. ^_^
Susan Polgar spent over 17 hours Palm Beach Gardens, Florida playing 1,131 games on more than 300 boards. She walked over nine miles, WHEE!
Her result was 1,112 wins, 16 draws and 3 losses.
I wonder how many pieces she sacrificed that day? How many blunders did she get away with?
