Molson Canadian! Lager Beer! Eh?! That's all we get up here in the Land Of The Yellow Snow but it does the trick.
What do Chepp Players drink to celebrate the holidays?

My new Christmas drink (as of yet, unnamed - suggestions?)
Take an empty glass/mug (or as many as you need) outside and scoop about one cup of freshly fallen snow (obviously, this drink cannot be made in all areas/seasons)
Add one shot of Malibu coconut-flavoured rum
Wait until the snow melts/condenses into alcohol slush
Add a squeeze or two of lime juice to taste
Enjoy!
dont eat the yellow snow

We (in the states) used to get a special export Molson Ale with an orange
outlined label. It was one of the best ale's available. Now we (West of
Chicago) can only get the lager and Golden. I really miss the special ale.

Gin martini made with Grey Goose + Tanqueray Gin
White Schnapps + 1/3 can of Red Bull for a pretty deadly short drink
Midori is great for lots of things, most notably (in my book) squashed frogs. There's a few varieties, but my favourite is grenadine, advocaat and midori layered (that order)
Amaretto is also fantastic for lots of things.
For a warmer drink, honey, good blended whisky + a dash of drambuie.
Just as good, a rusty nail (good blended whisky + Glayva).
And chilled Bailey's over ice always goes down a treat (or in an Irish Carbomb or any of the other curdling drinks).
The wife particularly likes my pink gins (Angostura bitters drizzled round glass, quality gin [my favourite being Tanqueray] + tonic to top up).
Nagasake shooters look brilliant and are dead easy to get right with a little practice (they look like a mushroom cloud).
For me, nothing quite beats a good Quay West Cooler though, it's got many of my favourite flavours in it (excluding good well-brewed North English beer straight from the pump [partial to Moonshine and Black Sheep] and a Scottish pine-brewed beer I found in a very good pub in Sheffield which tastes a bit of licquorice, but which I can never remember the name of).
Sorry, the list just expanded steadily.

like a kid in a candy store:
Hacker-Pschorr Weiss Beer
Guiness
Grey Goose Vodka
The entire Jim Beam family of Bourbons Bookers, Bakers, etc.
never met a Tequila I didn't like, put the cleaner ones keep hangovers away
and if you are in a place with rookie mixers, rum and coke is always safe

Schwarzbier is fantastic! Almost as enjoyable as a good Guinness and edges it because you can get it in litre glasses in good old Germany :)
Also, never been a huge fan of bourbon, but Maker's Mark goes down quite nicely.
Also been drinking Olympian Reserve Metaxa after a trip to Greece.

There is only one place near me that has Schwarzbier in bottles. It is pretty
expensive and I was worried about the taste from bottles rather then on tap.
Would it be worth trying bottled?

Hmm, it might be worth trying, it really depends how good the beer you're able to buy is. Personally I've only ever had it in pubs in Germany, so I've never had it bottled, but you could always give it a go, I'm sure one bottle won't destroy your taste for it :)
